“All American Boy”

(HOME)

Its about serial killer Edmond Kemper but also mentions a VERY scary line from sniper/killer Charles Whitman Jr. (who shot people from the Texas Tower)

“All American Boy”

bless the father & the mother

they love you, shape your mind

but mine were just like strangers

just not the model kind

even as a child

i was always sent away

but I always knew

that once I grew

i’d be at their door one day

my mother called me crazy

so society raised me

i guess i’m misunderstood

or could it be

that boys like me

don’t know bad from good

mother didn’t want me

i was strange & too big
said I scared my sisters

sent me away to live

girls just seem so silly

and slow to understand

a fellow just like me

is no one’s dream boat man

i’m an All American boy

the kind that makes the news

so many books explain me

so why am I confused?

I really like the nights

cause the demons in my head

are my constant shadow

when I lay in bed

just something about the darkness

and a comfort with the dead

i really seem to crave

but I favor the head

that I steal from their graves

I keep them alone

Cold, blue & dismembered

i guess it’s just the way

i want them to be remembered

i’m an All American boy

with a hunger & a thirst

i’d love a girl of my own

but I’d have to kill her first

cruising in my car

the girls all look so fine

but once they’re in my car

it’s over cause they’re mine

i’m an abomination

from the love generation

but before they commit me

i’ll take some souls with me

with no witness left behind

don’t really understand

it’s probably the way I was raised

but there are many like me

it’s not a childhood phase

i’m an All American boy

summer school & games

but now that I have grown

all the rules have changed

i’m an All American boy

but never had a date

so the only girls I met

fell victim to their fate

i’m an All American boy

in your neighborhood

like Charles Whitman

on the Texas tower

asking God

for one more hour

i’m an All American boy

a nightmare come true story

of a twisted generation

born in a nation of glory…
